Thank you!

Dogs Aid would like to thank everyone who supported our Dog Parade fundraiser on Sunday 10th September. Whether you marched on the day or made a donation, we are so appreciative. The day was a huge success (despite the weather!) and it was lovely for the volunteers to see so many former Dogs Aid dogs.

We would also like to thank Dublin City Council for allowing us to run our event in the beautiful St Annes park, Pet World, Santry for their kind donations, Reads of Nassau Street for printing the gorgeous photographs of our dogs, and everyone who advertised it for us.

To date we have raised approximately €2,200 with more donations still coming in. We couldn’t have done it without you.

Thank you girls!

Thank you very much to Isobel, Thea, Lucy and Jennifer. They held a cake sale with cakes they baked themselves and raised €30 for Dogs Aid. Every single cent is appreciated :)

Unwanted gifts

One of our volunteers gets a stall at the winter markets to fundraise for the sanctuary and sells new and unopened gifts people have donated to us.

So if you have any birthday, teacher, thank you gifts that you won’t use then we’d love if you would consider donating them to our stall.

Dogs Aid is unable to accept TY students

Unfortunately due to the litigious nature of our current society Dogs Aid are no longer able to accept students under the age of 18 on any kind of work experience. This includes TY students – whilst school insurance protects the student and the school it unfortunately does not protect Dogs Aid.

Apologies for any disappointment

Items for a market stall

One of our volunteers is going to be taking a stall at a market at some stage in Nov/Dec and we’re asking for any new and unopened items that we could sell at it.

If you have any unwanted gifts, new toys we’d really appreciate them for our stall. They can be dropped into the sanctuary, we’re open 6 days a week between 1pm and 4pm
