“We got Fred from Dogs Aid in 2001. He was very nervous and shy for a long time but as you can see he has learned to relax a bit! From January to March he was quite unwell as he had developed discospondylitis and was confirmed to cage rest for 12 weeks. I’m very happy to say that with the help of our wonderful vet he has made a full recovery and can still run with the speed of a greyhound when he’s at the beach.
He has such a wonderful personality and is so affectionate that he has even managed to win over my mother who is terrified of dogs. All the children on our road love and call to take him for a walk every day; he even answers the front door if we dont remember to turn the key! He just loves company and comes everywhere with us even if it’s just a trip to the local shop. Thanks so much for giving him to us; he has become such a huge part of the family it’s difficult to remember when he wasnt with us. Keep up the good work at Dogs Aid.”
