Max is a forever dog in the sanctuary after being returned from a previous home due to biting. Like his fellow mafia members, Max enjoys claiming the indoor table as his preferred perch, where he can watch the world go by.

Max has a very endearing way of asking for affection. When a volunteer sits beside him, he may softly offer a paw, his quiet and polite request for attention. With patience, respect for his boundaries, and a calm approach, volunteers have discovered just how sweet he can be.
