Our annual Dress4Less Fashion Event was once again a tremendous success, raising an incredible €15,000 for the dogs in our care.
Throughout the year, our wonderful supporters donated an amazing selection of clothing, shoes, jewellery, and accessories, all of which helped make this fundraiser possible. From carefully sorting and pricing hundreds of items to preparing everything for the big day, the generosity shown by our supporters never fails to amaze us.
The event was a fantastic opportunity for people to pick up some fabulous bargains while supporting Dogs Aid at the same time. It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces, both human and canine, arriving for some retail therapy and enjoying the irresistible selection of home baking that proved every bit as popular as the fashion finds!
A particularly special part of the day was Fr Joseph’s pet blessing, which was both heartfelt and moving. As always, the dogs were on their very best behaviour and made the occasion even more memorable.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Fr Joseph and Karol Stout for once again allowing us to hold the fundraiser in this wonderful venue for the third year running. We are also extremely grateful to Tommy and the Resource Centre volunteers, whose generosity and support helped ensure the day ran so smoothly.
A huge thank you must also go to our dedicated Dogs Aid volunteers, along with the families and friends who worked tirelessly behind the scenes before, during and after the event. Fundraisers of this scale simply wouldn’t be possible without their commitment and enthusiasm.
Most importantly, thank you to everyone who donated items throughout the year and to everyone who came along to support the sale. Every euro raised will help Dogs Aid continue to provide care, veterinary treatment, shelter and second chances to dogs in need.
Dress4Less Bonus
The incredible volume of donations we received meant we still had plenty of fantastic stock remaining after the event. To make sure every item could find a new home and raise even more funds for our dogs, we were delighted to hold a Dress4Less Stock Clearance Sale later on 20th September, giving supporters another opportunity to grab a bargain while helping Dogs Aid.
